so, there's cheryl. she lived in delaware--down the road from this
shy girl who rode horses, named abby. and when she went to church she
made friends with heather. she rode the school bus with chris and later
she went to high school
& met tim. eventually cheryl went to
college and kim lived across the hall. during the summertime she
became close friends with krissy, even though they had gone to high
school together. during another summer cheryl introduced chris and kim
online. uhem.
cheryl's circles had crossed, intertwined, collided!
so cheryl moved to maryland and married jamie. heather and tim got
married and had babies and got stationed in north carolina, then okinawa.
abby moved to florida, then pennsylvania. chris moved to kansas and
is finally moving back. kim stayed put in maryland. krissy went upstate
to college.
we'll see what happens from there...

Thats wonderful news Emily!
And abby which scene from Jerry???? The one that sticks out in my mind is the "never stop ^ me" scene *wink*
Have I mentioned how much my job is starting to piss the hell out of me??? I'm so sick and tired of all the bullshit! My boss is incompentant (I know, big surprise) and doens't know what communication is. so heres the current story about why my job pisses me off. I was hired to help with testing and collecting of the water esp since Erica was going to be going on maternity leave soon. Erica trained me, and went on leave, and is now back. She's been doing more of the acutal collection of the water, and I've been doing more of the testing (okay, so almost half of the testing- Bill, the other guy in water, does 2 tests, and another guy in the same department, different group does another. But i do the rest). Another woman that I work with, Mabelline reviews the paperwork for HVAC (they basically monitor the clean rooms- not a fun job, very mindless and boring) and is getting ready to go on maternity leave. Denise (imnompentant boss) is having Erica trained on HVAC so that she can review Mabe's paperwork. (Denise has done this to othre people and then permently put them on monitoring, and not really reviewing paperwork anymore). Erica isn't happy about it at all. She doesn't want to be in HVAC is theres a chance that she'll be monitoring regularly. The paperwork part isn't a problem. So yesterday, my deskmate, Becky was talking with Denise and told her that since shes very busy with a lot of things to do, and I'm not so busy, that I'd like to help more with microbial ID (actually identifying all of the organisms that we actually find, much more exciting than what I'm doing) and Denise told her that once Erica is transferred over to HVAC, that I'll be doing all of Erica's work and I won't have time to do any of that. That statement is where the problem lies. It makes it sound like Erica will acutally be moving to HVAC and monitoring regularly and leaving water. (not good at all) This then brought up a discussion among HVAC and Water about the whole situation. Most of them seem to think that I should be the one that is being trained in HVAC and not Erica, and that I have taken her job away from her. And then it was also said that they thought that it was a race issue. And that I'm being kept in water because I'm white and Erica is black. That pissed me off so much- still does! Then to make matters worse, Erica was very short with me all day. We had gotten in some samples from the clients that needed to be tested and I asked her if she wanted me to do them, or help with them. She very abruptly told me NO, i got it. I was like okaaaaaaay.... Then a few hours later I was told that we had another sample that had just come in. I went into the lab to run it, and she was already setting it up. I told her that I could get that for her, and again she replied with a mean, I'm already working in the hood reply. So i have no clue whats going on. Does she honestly think that I stole her job??? Because I didn't. I really and truly didn't. In the past when Denise had approached me about training on HVAC, I told her that I wasn't crazy about the idea, and that I would preferr to learn something else. I know that Erica knows that, is she upset about that? Erica overall is a very quiet person, and when she is upset she gets even more quiet and I can't read quiet people to save my life! I'm just so irratated with this whole situation. I gotta get out of there! I'm bored with the work, and now the people are starting to piss me off and this bullshit is so petty! AND THE race remark!?!?!?!? ARGH!!! growl!!!
There's supposed to be a meeting this Friday to talk about a lot of the projects and stuff that is going on, so i'm hoping a lot of these issues will be discussed then. But thats friday! Have to make it through tomorrow. *sigh*
okay, I'm off to drop Darwin off at the vets.
have a good one

aaawww...my little baby kitty went this morning. they're gonna chop off his weewee and pull out his fingernails! i felt so horrible leaving him there....squeaky's not sure what's happening. i think that she'll be happy all day, but lonely tonight when they usually play....she was glad to get food this morning, though. i had to take it away from kinichi at 6pm last night, so they were both very hungry this morning and couldn't eat! poor little things!! :(

abby, have to agree, that meeting back up with the ex can be a great experience. helping to convince yourself that you made the right decision. When I broke up with scott (the serisous bf before Chris) it was INCREDIBLE hard, but we kept it friendly and eventually hung out for a while a month or so later. It was good seeing him, but I was totally glad that we weren't together. (he has a tendecy to ramble and talk and talk and talk... esp about his new job, something about computers, and my eyes just glazed over for the two hours that he talked... outside by his car. sheeeeesh!) (that and hes not as good looking as Chris *wink*)
aaaaaaaaanways.. at work right now, procrastinating a little before I get down to actually getting stuff done. *sigh* Anyone know of someone who is looking for a lab tech in research??? something to get me away from testing the @(*#& water!!! ARGH!
My little kitty goes off to the vets on wed, gonna rip out her ovaries and other "mommy parts." maybe she'll actually let me sleep in the morning then...
and YAY! Emily!!!!!
