so, there's cheryl. she lived in delaware--down the road from this shy girl who rode horses, named abby. and when she went to church she made friends with heather. she rode the school bus with chris and later she went to high school & met tim. eventually cheryl went to college and kim lived across the hall. during the summertime she became close friends with krissy, even though they had gone to high school together. during another summer cheryl introduced chris and kim online. uhem.

cheryl's circles had crossed, intertwined, collided!

so cheryl moved to maryland and married jamie. heather and tim got married and had babies and got stationed in north carolina, then okinawa. abby moved to florida, then pennsylvania. chris moved to kansas and is finally moving back. kim stayed put in maryland. krissy went upstate to college.

we'll see what happens from there...

Abby thank you so much for your advice! Such profesional advice. I actually went online and found sample resignation letters and basically copied and pasted it. and *WHEW* I told my boss. I think I caught her off guard but she said a lot of good things about me. (caught me a little off guard there) But feel better. *ALL GRINS*

i've never resigned officially either...but i think just a letter stating that you're giving 2 weeks notice is good enough. i'd copy it and give it to the people you mentioned...yay for the new job!! (now find me one!!!)

okay so I need some advice, I'm totally clueless about how to resign from a job. I've never really had to do it. What should I say in my letter? And should I give it to Human Resources? or to my boss? or the head of the whole department???
Here's the plan: I give them my two weeks this friday, that would make the 20th my last day. THen I'd have from then until the the 6th of July before I'd start my new job. =) I might be able to swing going to visit my sister in VA beach for a bit too. *grin*

and have I mentioned how much I'm going to screw where I'm at now. We are already shorthanded, and are losing someone else soon- she's pregnant and waiting until the doc says that she can't work any more. And they are planning on a huge shut down for the water system that I help to test right around Christmas. They'd start the acutal testing on the 26th (its very intense stuff and not fun!) and and and... SHould be interesting to see what happens.

Did I mention that I've got a new job?????? YAY!

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I got the job!!! and they are going to offer me more than I'm making now... okay so its only a thousand more... but its enough to keep my dad from haressing me. and YAYAY! I'm going to officially accept the job tomorrow, but YAY! no more water testing!!!

yay for everyone! it's like we're the yay yay sisters...hehe

we put up our tree sunday night and put lights in it last night...we're having issues, though--the little cat has taken over the tree!! he won't let squeaky play in it and he thinks it's way fun when i try to mess with it! he sits about five feet up and just looks cute!! we're honestly considering just putting lights, bows, and maybe some ribbon on it! everything else will end up getting broken!!

isn't it great that this is what's on my mind, though?? :)

YAY to no crutches... BOO to bad people who steal things.... YAY! to a quick recovery for Joey... and YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! They called me back!!! I'll be getting an informal offer over the phone tomorrow, and would prolly be starting at the first of the year. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! Will fill you all in on more details as soon as I know them. =D
