so, there's cheryl. she lived in delaware--down the road from this shy girl who rode horses, named abby. and when she went to church she made friends with heather. she rode the school bus with chris and later she went to high school & met tim. eventually cheryl went to college and kim lived across the hall. during the summertime she became close friends with krissy, even though they had gone to high school together. during another summer cheryl introduced chris and kim online. uhem.

cheryl's circles had crossed, intertwined, collided!

so cheryl moved to maryland and married jamie. heather and tim got married and had babies and got stationed in north carolina, then okinawa. abby moved to florida, then pennsylvania. chris moved to kansas and is finally moving back. kim stayed put in maryland. krissy went upstate to college.

we'll see what happens from there...

So the one guy that I wasn't sure about- found out what it is that makes me not sure. Hes the type of person that ALWAYS has something to say and what he says is the right way to do things. That kind of person. And eventhough you tell him things and you THINK that hes listening, he really isn't because in a few minutes he'll ask you the same question that you've already answered. That and I found out that his wife is in a detention center... and hes got the two kids. interesting.... Just thought I'd share. (yes I'm that bored at work- I should be writing SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) but thats not fun and how much can you say on how to use a microwave?????)

Emily, I know how you feel. Its hard to go backwards and just be friends. I wish I had some good advice for you. Maybe you could start out small and include him in emails or something? Just a thought.

I didn't get a chance to tell you all about my wonderful Christmas/graduation present from my grandmother! Talked to her a few weeks before Christmas and she told me to keep an eye out for a package. She went on to explain that because she didn't give me much for graduation that my christmas present was going to be a little of both. Silly me, I let my imagination get the best of me and thought that since she really likes jewlery that maybe she'd send me a nice pair of earrings, or a ring, or a necklace. Nothing fancy, but just something nice, that I could use. Finally got my package right before Christmas... It was in a big ole box, so I quickly opened it to find three cardboard boxes all filled with chocolate! (side note: I am NOT a big chocolate fan, I like a little bit here and there, but overall, I'd rather have something else. My favorite cake is angel food, just not a big sweet person) One of the boxes was full of chocolate covered carmel popcorn, another one full of chocolate covered pretzels and graham crackers, and the last was full of assorted chocolates. But just ..... I have no words for it. What am I going to do with all that damn chocolate???? Luckily I was able to pawn some off on Chris. (he took it to work with him one day and most of the assorted chocolates were finished up) BUT I still have two more boxes of this crap to get through. She got it from the Home Shopping Network, I was so tempted to check off "not what I expected" and send it back to them. very tempting thought. And now I have to write her a damn thank you letter and tell her how much I loved it and yadda yadda yadda. *eye roll* Still can't believe that she sent me chocolate!!!! She sent my parents polish kliebsa (which I LOVE!!!) Why couldn't she have sent that to me?????? grrrr... But then I guess I should look at it as she at least thought of me (she didn't send anything to my sister), and I really don't want to sound ungrateful but...... *sigh*

Thanks Krissy! First day wasn't too bad, didn't really do much today. And tomorrow we're going to be moving into the building across the street... and they are still trying to get their labs up and running... so I'm not gonna be too busy for awhile. But the people I'm gonna be working with seem really nice. The only person I'm kinda iffy on is the new guy that they just hired, he seems a little... don't know the right word, but theres just somehting about him.

In other news... I found an apartment!!! I'm gonna be moving on Sat... which means... I have a shit load more packing to do before then!!! But am soooooo excited about living by myself. I can decorate it how I want, and don't have to worry about roommate doing stupid crap. (I'm pretty good at laughing at my own stupid stuff- and as Chris will tell you, my tolerence for Adrienne is VERY low, lower than my tolerence for when I was living with Jamie!!!)
