:: welcome to when circles collide? :: ::

so, there's cheryl. she lived in delaware--down the road from this shy girl who rode horses, named abby. and when she went to church she made friends with heather. she rode the school bus with chris and later she went to high school & met tim. eventually cheryl went to college and kim lived across the hall. during the summertime she became close friends with krissy, even though they had gone to high school together. during another summer cheryl introduced chris and kim online. uhem.

cheryl's circles had crossed, intertwined, collided!

so cheryl moved to maryland and married jamie. heather and tim got married and had babies and got stationed in north carolina, then okinawa. abby moved to florida, then pennsylvania. chris moved to kansas and is finally moving back. kim stayed put in maryland. krissy went upstate to college.

we'll see what happens from there...

happy belated birthday Krissy!

My high school memories were overall good, but looking back I can't believe how naivee I was. I also had quite a few groups of friends that I hung out with, but they didn't all get together. Stupid cliques in high school! Theres really only one friend from high school that I really keep in touch with. All of the rest have fallen to the wayside. One was expelled after 11th grade (we were close from 8-10th and then she started hanging out with the wrong crowd, but she did get my first kiss to a boy) I think since high school shes had a baby, gotten married, and then possibly divorced? I'm not quite sure. Another of my close friends from high school was living with her boyfriend in VA, but he was trying for the PGA tour, so they might be moving to FL? Who knows! And then theres qutie a few that have gotten married and had kids- still blows my mind! (sorry heather, but I have trouble believing that I'm considered a grown up and knowing that they are the same age as me.... ) Overall I have to say that I have better memories and relationships from college than I do high school. I finally started to find out who I am and learned what real friendships are. And I have to say that breaking up with my high school boyfriend helped a lot. I didn't realize how much I just went along with what he said and wanted to do until the end. Its amazing how much you mature during your first few years at college/ or after high school. I can easily say that I'm not the same person that I was back in high school. I'm more willing to speak up for myself and do what I want. I remember becing so afraid that I'd have to eat lunch by myself in high school, and now I'm living by myself and not having a problem with it at all. amazing.

My head hurts all of a sudden, and I'm slightly bored. Our cells that we collected from the rats are growing nicely. We have a digital camera hooked up to our microscope and were able to take pictures of them this week. = ) I've been playing around with the images all morning.

So what did you do Abby that almost got you into major trouble????? curious!

okay, I'm off to try to look busy at work. Wishing that rain would go away and spring would hurry up and show its face!!! Tired of seeing snow!! Speaking of which, I took Darwin out on her harness last night. We went for a long walk around my new building (first significant walk for her!) and NO! I'm not weird for taking my cat for a walk!!! She loved it and didn't want to come in. I was throwing rocks for her to chase and pounce on! And she walked over some snow and then had to shake her little paws because they were wet. She's so cute!

maybe a sex change! that's odd exciting info...or maybe he's got a boyfriend!! oh boy! let's stop beating up on my emmy!! : )

abby--i guess more of our happy memories are from middle school...the baking parties, the snow storms, horse shows...that ice skating thing was high school, though...but yeah, high school's a wierd time. figuring out who we want to be (once we leave anyway--while we're there we're stuck basically!)...trying to compromise with what others want us to be (parents mainly, but friends too)...ugh. let's talk of happier things...

who's kristy best marrying!?!?! so cool!! i wish her all the best!!
