so, there's cheryl. she lived in delaware--down the road from this
shy girl who rode horses, named abby. and when she went to church she
made friends with heather. she rode the school bus with chris and later
she went to high school
& met tim. eventually cheryl went to
college and kim lived across the hall. during the summertime she
became close friends with krissy, even though they had gone to high
school together. during another summer cheryl introduced chris and kim
online. uhem.
cheryl's circles had crossed, intertwined, collided!
so cheryl moved to maryland and married jamie. heather and tim got
married and had babies and got stationed in north carolina, then okinawa.
abby moved to florida, then pennsylvania. chris moved to kansas and
is finally moving back. kim stayed put in maryland. krissy went upstate
to college.
we'll see what happens from there...

But Three's Company is GREAT (have you watched 8 simple rules with John Ritter? They did a whole 3's company spoof one night that was hilarious!!)
aaaaaaaaaaanyways... I totally agree with you guys. I want to know whats going on but I don't need to see the plasma screens in the room that they are using for briefings iwith the press!! Just give me the facts. I was so tired last night that I didn't bother staying up to hear Bush speak, I figured I'd hear updates on the news and radio this morning, or at the very least the internet. Was disappointing though, the news this morning was going on about stupid details that I didn't need to know about, or were talking about the weather and commute, normal everyday nice to know things, but nothing of real importance. Radio was just as bad. It wasn't until I got to work and got a hold of the internet that I found a copy of his speach (much better to read it than to listen, I'm more of a visual person anyways) and get up to date.
Is it time to go home yet? With all this icky rain I'm ready to crawl in bed and hibernate for a few hours.... days..... weeks? *grin*

exactly...it's just like sept 11, i feel compelled to watch every second...but all that's getting me is more stressed and worried...i want to be up to date and educated, but i really shouldn't immerse myself in it (i don't think that anyone should, really) it'll just make me more emotional...so i'm watching the a-team...actually, jamie watches it when he's home for lunch and he always leaves it on...i usually turn it off, but today i need the distraction. last night after bush spoke--i watched three's company...but my headache just got worse...can't imagine why :)

i thought i was pretty civil--trying to keep the peace even...
i know that it affects each of us differently, some more than others...personally--i don't like political debate. i feel one way, you feel another...that's nice. sometimes it stops there (i can--it's my personality) and sometimes there are persons who feel the need to go past that point, vehemently even...that's where it gets uncomfortable...and honestly, heather's first post (in response to my question) was expressing her view--no problem. the second post went into uncomfortable territory...namecalling the other side...my first reaction was to post a letter that i had found that i agreed with...but you know what--i think she would've reacted the same way...
heather, i hope you reconsider.

I totally understand Cheryl, I'm not very politically orientated.
I'm sorry that you feel that way Heather. Take care with the kids and the hubby.
Hows everyone else faring?

heather, i deleted the letter because i don't think that this blog is the place to get political. we all have very different points of view and i think for the sake of all of our friendships that we should try to avoid stuff like that...not that we should sensor ourselves, but if ya'll wanna get political--get yourselves a blog and go off! i'd like to keep this one for keeping in touch...hope everyone understands!
hope you and the girls feel better and that you don't have to stay in your houses! that would suck! (then it would be like when we were all snowed in!)
i talked to miss emily online the other day--she was totally gushing about her new man (she's so cute!)...hope she finds time to fill us in on here! :)
kim--i have a housewarming gift for you! when can we come visit!?!?
jamie's buddy is here to play magic--can you tell that i'm bored and want to talk to the girls??

i'm feeling blah...it's a wierd combo of nervousness, sleepiness, and just plain blah...i'm worried...
heather, what's gonna happen with you guys if we go to war? (i'm sure you're already worrying about it, i'm sorry if you're trying not to!) we've actually got a friend from college in kuwait and i just said to jamie that it's not like when we were in sixth grade--we actually should worry about it now...sheesh...wish we didn't have to!

Cheryl, I think its safe to say that you are addicted!!!!
In other news... I have internet again! I've been having such a hard time getting a constant signal. This past week I think I was online for a total of an hour! SUCKS!!! Was starting to go through withdrawl! I've had Comcast come out 3 times to check my lines and all that jazz. Took off a half day today so that I could be there. They were supposed to be there between 9 and 1. I got a call at 10:30 saying the techs were running late but would be there soon. At 12:50 they still weren't there!!! So I called the dispatch up to find out how much longer I had to wait, and was told that he was running an hour behind! growl! I thought that it would be even longer before I saw them, so decided to jump in the shower before they got there. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I had the water on and was undressed there was a knock at the front door? sheeeeeeeesh! Had to dress real quick and answer the door. They said that my lines were fine and that the modem that I got (from Comcast!) was bad!!! (seems they don't acutally use new ones, they just recondition them) They hooked up a new modem and I'm hoping like hell that I'll still have internet later tonight! (Chris wants to play games online, and thats really hard to do when you don't have internet!!!!)
And totally off topic, but I think its cute... Chris's niece asked him this weekend when he's going to marry me. I think she's all of like 4 or 5, and is a complete doll baby (that and her name is Kim!!!) I just couldn't help but laugh at it. Chris said that he just dodged the question. Its amazing what little kids will say!
Another off topic ....
Was home this past weekend for my dad's birthday. Went to church and was just amazed by how much the kids I used to teach have grown!!!! (I used to help out with the 1st and 2nd graders after I was confirmed) Saw Douglas, a TOTAL pain in my ass when he was little, had a huge crush on me, used to follow me around and annoy the crap out of me... AAAAAAAAAAAaaaanyways..... puberty has kicked in and its like DAMN, when did that happen?!?!?! I mean its not a good thing when you start thinking bad thoughts in church about someone that much younger than you are!!!! (I think its like 6 years difference, he should be getting ready to graduate high school soon) *giggles uncontrollably!* He definatly made red hair look good. but just wow, puberty was good to the boy! I'm still in shock over this, and its hard to admit to my family that he looks damn good now, because they know what a pain he was in the past. And its not like it matters, way too young and besides, he's not Chris. (that of course is the main reason!)
So has anyone else noticed how bored I am at the moment? I'm at work and have finished what I needed to do, its just a matter of killing time until its time to go home! (and because of that I have become quite addicted to reading fan fiction stories based on Harry Potter, have to do something until the next book comes out!!!)
oh and ... HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!!
