so, there's cheryl. she lived in delaware--down the road from this
shy girl who rode horses, named abby. and when she went to church she
made friends with heather. she rode the school bus with chris and later
she went to high school
& met tim. eventually cheryl went to
college and kim lived across the hall. during the summertime she
became close friends with krissy, even though they had gone to high
school together. during another summer cheryl introduced chris and kim
online. uhem.
cheryl's circles had crossed, intertwined, collided!
so cheryl moved to maryland and married jamie. heather and tim got
married and had babies and got stationed in north carolina, then okinawa.
abby moved to florida, then pennsylvania. chris moved to kansas and
is finally moving back. kim stayed put in maryland. krissy went upstate
to college.
we'll see what happens from there...

GRRRRRR... my internet is out again! This is VERY MUCH annoying!!!Since the end of Feb, I have had like 7 people come out to "look at it," and three of them were supposed to be "lead techs"... fumes!!! I just want to have internet when I get home, is that REALLY asking all that much????
In other news, I had an interesting conversation with my uncle over Easter. He was asking if I was still dating the same guy. I asked him which one (because I know that he met my ex but I didn't think that he had met Chris and just wanted to make sure that we were talking about the same person.) And he answered back with a southern belle accent "you know that tall drink of water." He had me rolling!! And then he went on to say that he referred to my ex as the human bolling pin. (coincidently, my other uncle referred to him as the "ole hobo") I shouldn't laugh.... but... Why do you always find out AFTER the fact what everyone really thinks of the person that you are dating. He said that he had a heart to heart with my dad to make sure that I wasn't marriage serious over the bolling pin! That is so bad! (and yet at the same time entertainig!) He didn't seem to have anything bad to say about Chris, that or else he was keeping his mouth shut. hmmm...
I also shouldn't be taking pleasure in this bit of news, but... oh well... My cousin Nicole has just recently gotten a job working in a law office in DC. (just graduated Law school and passed the bar within the past year). Her mom and my dad got into a HUGE argument one year about how Nicole would have more of an impact on the world as a lawyer than i would with my biology degree doing research and stuff. HUGE ARGUMENT! Really quite entertaining. aaaaaaaaaanways... Nicole has always sucked up to everyone to get what she wants, not really thankful for it either. Well, seems that since she's moved to DC (from Wisconsin) she has stopped keeping in touch with everyone. She did go home for Easter, and my grandmother was quoted as saying that she's changed and that if she saw her in 6 months that it would be too soon! So everyone on that side of the family is all upset with Nicole because she has forgotten everyone now that she's making the "big money" and working days, nights and weekends- hey shes the one that wanted to be a lawyer!
So those are my guilty pleasures.... *sigh*
Krissy, are you out looking at law school in CA yet????
Abby, if it gets too bad and you are willing to relocate to Baltimore, I heard that my company is looking for an accounting assistant/receptionist.... I know, very exciting. (and Cheryl, let me know if you think that's something Jamie might want more info on.)
