so, there's cheryl. she lived in delaware--down the road from this
shy girl who rode horses, named abby. and when she went to church she
made friends with heather. she rode the school bus with chris and later
she went to high school
& met tim. eventually cheryl went to
college and kim lived across the hall. during the summertime she
became close friends with krissy, even though they had gone to high
school together. during another summer cheryl introduced chris and kim
online. uhem.
cheryl's circles had crossed, intertwined, collided!
so cheryl moved to maryland and married jamie. heather and tim got
married and had babies and got stationed in north carolina, then okinawa.
abby moved to florida, then pennsylvania. chris moved to kansas and
is finally moving back. kim stayed put in maryland. krissy went upstate
to college.
we'll see what happens from there...

That's horrible news Abby! Good luck!
Happy belated birthday Emily!!!
Just got back from spending the weekend at my sisters with my parents (4-5 hours there and back ALONE with my parents... not recommended!!! I thought I was going to go crazy esp. when my dad wouldn't let anyone else drive!!!!!!!!) had a good time with Val though. (again, Dad was a little impossible most of the trip). We went on a tour of Norfolk's Navy base (still trying to figure out why we didn't get a cute Navy sailor for our tour), checked out the VA Science Museum (I like their aquarium better than Batlimores!), we also went to Busch Gardens too. I was petting one of the Cyldesdales outside of the park, playing with his lips and stuff, and the next thing I knew, "Boomer" had my thumb lodged between his teeth! I told his handler and she ignored me, and then I told her again, "he's got my thumb between his teeth!" She looked at me kind of funny and then flicked the lead and he let go! My poor little thumb was all bruised and sore, luckily he didn't break the skin. About an hour later, we finally found the first aid station and they cleaned me up and got me some ice. Right now my thumb has a scar and there is a little discomfort when I try to bend it all the way, but other than that it's fine. Silly horsie!!
I'm also patiently awaiting to hear back about Chris's potential job near me. He went on a interview last week, and it sounded VERY positive. There were just some minor things that needed to be looked into. But if he does get it, then it looks like I'll be getting a roommate (and he insists on bringing his bird with him! Do you think he would notice if I left the door open one day, and Darwin got hungry???? nah- I couldn't do that to Tiny, Chris would kill me!!!!). I've mentioned this to my mom and she was like, well, I can't tell you not to, but if its for the greater good, then she'll go along with it. I just have to say something to my dad (was going to say something during our trip, but he was pissing me off way too much, and I was was too irratated for me to say something!) So keep your fingers crossed!
Cheryl, when should you hear back from the newspaper? Good luck! I love the feeling that you get after an interview when you know that its something that you WANT to do!
Krissy, you doing okay with your boy so close?? Where is he staying at?
